Part of an ongoing fascination with the melting pot of the Lower East Side during Mass Emigration; from the Yiddishkeit of my own ancestry, to the similarities shared by the myriad groups who settled in Manhattan at the turn of the twentieth century. A fragment of this collected memory, and one of several homesick love songs for my home while living outside of it.
